Getting ready for a new set of aspiring artists, Demi Lovato and Britney Spears arrived at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, CA for “The X-Factor” auditions on Monday afternoon (June 18).
The singing beauties posed for photos and greeted fans as the 19-year-old rocked a pink streak in her hair with a sexy sheer-topped dress, while the blonde pop star donned a gold ensemble and tweeted, “It's official. @TheXFactorUSA premieres Sept 12 on FOX. Ready 2 see what I've been up 2 w/ @SimonCowell @ddlovato @LA_Reid? #ItsXFactorB*tch”
In other news, the “Till the World Ends” singer came in contact with former friend Don Philip at the auditions in San Francisco on Sunday (June 17).
Miss Spears collaborated with the performer more than a decade ago on the song “I will Still Love You” and after his performance he told her that he was "gay" and added that he didn’t think she approved of his sexual orientation.
According to People, the 30-year-old singer said, ““I think it’s fine that you’re gay,” but she did not sugarcoat her critiques adding, “Through the years, maybe you’ve gone through a lot of hardships and battles, and I think you’ve gone through that more than training on your voice, because your voice really isn’t up to the bar of the standards of ‘The X Factor’ and what we want.”
In spite of the harsh criticism, Philip posted a comment on his Facebook that read, “clears up alot of past issues for me and gives me joy to know Brit 100% accepted me and does now.”
