Regarding her special edition Barbie Doll, Zendaya gushed, “After my Oscar moment, Mattel contacted us. They specifically wanted to make a Barbie that looked like me, in my exact outfit from the Oscars. I was so excited that Barbie wanted to diversify their brand. Now all little girls can have a Barbie that looks like them. My Barbie is in a box. I never let anyone touch her.”
She’s always been a precocious child, and Willow Smith just added another impressive title to her resume- Chanel ambassador.
On Tuesday (March 8), the French fashion brand released a statement to share the good news- “The young singer, songwriter, actress and trendsetter has been wearing Chanel for public appearances since 2013 and her first encounter with Karl Lagerfeld was in 2014 when he photographed her for the American magazine V.”
Taking a quick break from whipping her hair back and forth, Willow Smith just rolled out her “Miss Dazey” collection for Stance Socks, priced between $12 and $18 per pair.
Of the project, the 15-year-old performer told Vogue, “Designing socks is very interesting because they are items of clothing that aren’t seen a lot. For me, socks can emit energy through you—even if nobody sees them. They have a message on them that radiates through your entire being . . . at least for me they do.”
Back in 2011 she hit the charts with “Whip My Hair” and it seems Willow Smith has grown up quite a bit from the sound of her just-released debut album Ardipithecus.
The 15-year-old songstress told The Fader, “Ardipithecus Ramidus is the scientific name of the first hominid bones found on earth. I wanted to name my musical compilation after it because while I was making these songs I was in such a transitional state. Digging deep in the soil of my heart and finding bits and pieces of my ancient self that tell stories, which end up being the lyrics to the songs.”
Poking fun at overly hyped celebrity media, Kylie Jenner and Jaden Smith took to Instagram for a “scandalous” photo of their own.
The “Karate Kid” star ditched his shirt for the snap shot with the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star in an attempt to mock Willow Smith and Moises Arias’ pic that created plenty of hype last week.
