Robert Pattinson Hits the Set, Sticks Up for K-Stew

Still plugging away at his new project, Robert Pattinson was spotted on the set of “Water for Elephants” yesterday (June 23).

Joined by his costar Reese Witherspoon, the “New Moon” stud looked a bit scruffy and unkempt as he filmed scenes on an outdoor set.

In a recent interview, Robert came to the defense of his “Twilight” costar (and rumored girlfriend) Kristen Stewart over her poorly-chosen words regarding feeling “raped” by the paparazzi.

Pattinson told press, "None of those associations came out and gave a statement [criticizing Kristen] without being called upon by the media first. That whole system of Internet journalists, where no one is called to account, is almost entirely about hate. All these people get away with doing it because they have no responsibility to anyone."
