Vanessa Minnillo: You Can Call Me Vanessa Lachey

Making a major change thanks to her recently-acquired "married" status, Vanessa Minnillo has made the move to take on hubby Nick Lachey's surname.

After having tied the knot this past July, the 31-year-old beauty announced the big news via Twitter on Friday (November 18), as she wrote, "So. . .I'm making it official, and I LOVE my 'new name!' @VanessaLachey has a nice ring to it."

Along with the last name switch-up, Vanessa and Nick also purchased themselves a brand new pad in Encino, California - with the estate described as "a Spanish-style, 8,000 square feet home with 8 bathrooms and 18 rooms, along with numerous balconies and a pool."

As for what she's up to as of late, Mrs. Nick Lachey is lined up to co-host tomorrow's "Countdown to The American Music Awards" special alongside Chris Harrison beginning at 7:00pm ET/PT.
