The “What’s Left of Me” singer told Us Weekly that being the father of two brings its own set of challenges and rewards- “The new baby, Brooklyn, she’s awesome. She’s a great sleeper and eater. It’s fun now, she’s starting to smile, so we’re starting to see her personality come in.”
Kicking off the week with some family expansion, Nick Lachey and his wife Vanessa said hello to their second child on Monday (January 5). The “Sing Off” hunk and his darling lady said hello to daughter Brooklyn Elisabeth Lachey at 5:17pm and she weighed in at a healthy 7lbs, 15oz, 21 inches long.
Vanessa wrote on her website, “I have been dreaming of this moment for as long as I can remember, the day I was going to meet my little girl. A friend recently told me how magical today was going to be because it’s the day I would meet my best friend.”
While his ex-wife Jessica Simpson dotes around in all her newlywed glory, Nick Lachey made a big announcement of his own on Tuesday (July 15).
The former 98 Degrees bandmate took to Twitter to reveal that he and his wife Vanessa are expecting their second child. “Can’t think of a better way to celebrate 3 years of marriage to my beautiful Vanessa than this,” Nick wrote along with a photo of his son Camden running on the beach around a heart in the sand that reads, “It’s a girl.”
