CBS Co-Workers: Ashton Kutcher is "Not As Funny As Charlie"
His debut pulled in a record-breaking audience, but not everyone seems to be impressed with Ashton Kutcher's replacement of Charlie Sheen - especially his "Two and a Half Men" coworkers.
While the "That 70s show" star has earned rave reviews following Monday night's season premiere, those used to working with now-axed Sheen just couldn't shake the remembrance of their former colleague.
While talking with E!, one of Ashton's behind-the-scenes staffers offered up their thoughts, telling, "[Ashton] is really a nice guy. Just a nice guy. And he's OK on set. He gets the job done—that's what we all want."
Echoing the first reply, another "Men" employee told, "He's just not as funny as Charlie. Not that we'd want Charlie back if you doubled our salaries," adding the show "just isn't the same anymore," calling Kutcher nothing more than a "safe replacement."
