Since bursting onto the scene in 1983 with "Risky Business," Tom Cruise has made a lot of memorable films. On Wednesday (April 24), he was forced to recall them on the "Tonight Show with Jay Leno."
When Jay fired off the titles of some of his greatest hits, the 50-year-old actor recited a line from each one, occasionally with the help of fellow guest Emily Blunt.
Also during the interview, the "Mission Impossible" star revealed that his need for speed started at a very young age.
Noting that his first motorcycle was a Yamaha, he shared, "My [single] mother was away working for the weekend and I'd stored it in the basement. I didn't tell her I bought it because I didn't want her to panic right away. I was about 10 years old." After telling the details of his first crash, he concludes, "I flew off into the next yard like Wile E. Coyote. It was like a cartoon! I thought I was knocked out, but I was just kind of quickly staggering for the bike because the lights came on in the neighbor's house. I got it in and tucked it in the basement."
