She’s struggled with a yo-yoing waistline for years and now it seems Kirstie Alley has finally declared victory over her battle of the bulge.
The “Cheers” actress dropped by the “Today” show on Monday to chat with Matt Lauer about her latest milestone thanks to Jenny Craig. Kirstie confidently declared “We’re at 50 [pounds lost]! I used to do roller coaster… this time it’s different.”
Kicking off the week with some media duties, Kristen Stewart stopped by the “Today” show this morning (January 5). Joined by partner-in-crime Julianne Moore, the “Snow White and the Huntsman” actress discussed her new film “Still Alice” about a woman with early onset Alzheimer’s Disease.
Kristen explained, “I think I found aspects of myself within this part that I hadn’t had a reason to discover. I can stand in something so grotesquely horrendous, and actually see the good in something, and try and see the light, and I didn’t know that I had that.”
It’s never easy when illness keeps you from the activities you love to do, and Angelina Jolie was pretty frustrated when she contracted chickenpox and had to miss the premiere of her film “Unbroken.”
While chatting with “Today” anchor Al Roker, the “Changeling” actress explained, "It was so absurd. What was even stranger was, I think, during the day before. I was trying to do interviews and I was like, 'What's happening to me? Strange.’”
There are so many things that go into the live “Today” show broadcast every single day, and the team at NBC decided to make a musical to show viewers exactly what happens. Earlier today (December 29), Kathie Lee Gifford, Hoda Kotb, Matt Lauer, Al Roker and the rest of the cast and crew sang and danced their way through a 14-minute production that was written by Gifford herself.
And as a special added bonus, Kathie Lee’s former on-air partner Regis Philbin came out of retirement to make a thrilling guest appearance.
The “American Hustle” star reportedly found out that the NBC program planned on drilling her with queries regarding the cyber invasion and she informed the network that she preferred not to comment. And after “Today” kicked her to the curb, the Weinstein Company released a statement in support of Ms. Adams.
Now that she’s officially Mrs. Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie has been working hard to improve her wife skills.
During her interview on “Today” with Tom Brokaw, the “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” starlet confessed, “We have moments where I say, ‘I’m going to be a better wife! I’m going to learn to cook,’ and he says, ‘Oh honey, know what you’re good at, know what you’re not.’ He knows my limitations and where I’m a good wife and a good mom.”
