They knocked it out of the park as hosts of the 2013 Golden Globe Awards, and now Amy Poehler and Tina Fey have agreed to team up for the next two years.
NBC honcho Paul Telegdy announced today (October 15), “Tina and Amy are two of the most talented comedic writer/performers in our business, and they were a major reason the Golden Globes was the most entertaining awards show of last season.”
Eager to kick off a new season, Tina Fey played host on "Saturday Night Live" last night (September 28).
The "30 Rock" star, who was once a member of the skit show's cast, brought her perfect comedic timing to the set, along with spoofs of "Girls," a fun game of "Cast Member or Arcade Fire" with new cast members, and advice for the new Weekend Update anchor.
Following in the footsteps of plenty of other A-list stars, Miley Cyrus and Tina Fey were announced as hosts for the upcoming 39th season of "Saturday Night Live."
Starting off the season on September 28th, the "Mean Girls" star will take the stage while the band Arcade Fire will serve as musical guest for the evening. This will be Fey's fourth time hosting the late night gig.
