Tiger Woods is Experiencing "Sadness" Over Divorce

Continuing to immerse himself back into the sport in which he once dominated, Tiger Woods hit the links at The Barclay's Pro-Am on Wednesday (August 25).

Also speaking with press at the Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, New Jersey, Woods commented on his recently completed divorce from Swedish beauty Elin Nordegren.

Tiger said, "I wish her the best in everything. It's a sad time in our lives. And we're looking forward to how we can help our kids the best way we possibly can. And that's the most important thing."

Later asked if he felt relieved that the split is complete, the golf superstar said, "I don't think that's the word, I think it's just more sadness. Because I don't think you ever – you don't ever go into a marriage looking to get divorced. That's the thing. That's why it is sad."

As for whether he'd take back the past if at all possible, Woods understandably replied, "My actions certainly led us to this decision. And I've certainly made a lot of errors in my life and that's something I'm going to have to live with."
