After holding its place at the number one spot in iTunes, Taylor Swift will premiere the music video for her newest jam “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” on MTV Thursday night (August 30).
The 22-year-old singer released a short clip from the video where she dons a darling dress, her signature red lips, and dances the night away with her friends.
Declan Whitebloom, who also directed music videos for "Mean" and "Ours," shot the feature with only one camera, in one continuous take. Impressive!
Miss Swift never fails to impress and her single was the top grossing song in one week by a woman with 623,000 paid downloads. It comes off her fourth studio album “Red,” which will debut on October 22.
Taylor revealed the album title during a live YouTube interview a few weeks ago and said, “I wrote a song called 'Red' and thinking about what that song means to me and all the different emotions on this album. They're all pretty much about the tumultuous, crazy, insane, intense, semi-toxic relationships I've experienced in the last two years and all those emotions fanning from intense love, intense frustration, intense jealousy, confusion, all of that in my mind, all those emotions are red.”
Watch the clip below and tune into MTV, CMT and Teen Nick tomorrow night at 7:49 p.m. ET to catch the entire music video!
