Geri Horner, Mel B and Emma Bunton have been forced to scrap plans to stage a Spice Girls talent show.
The celebrity trio had planned to give fans of the record-breaking girl group the opportunity to join them on stage as they made their much-anticipated return to the spotlight, but the plans have been blocked by former bandmates Victoria Beckham and Mel C, who reportedly feared it would "damage the Spice Girls brand".
A source explained: "While fans would have preferred to see all five on stage again, the chance to become a Spice Girl was definitely the next best thing.
"Unfortunately, that won't be happening now. Neither Victoria nor Mel C were on board with the idea and faced with an 'us and them' situation, it was dropped.
Mel B has reportedly stopped Stephen Belafonte from accessing their bank accounts.
The former Spice Girl has cut off Stephen's cash flow after she filed for divorce last month - and the decision has apparently left Stephen in a precarious financial situation, with an insider claiming it has hit him "hard".
The source explained: "Mel has finally pulled the rug out from underneath him and that seems to have left him a bit lost."
Stephen, 41, is reported to have reconnected with his ex-girlfriend Nicole Contreras and told her of his desperate financial situation.
The source told The Sun newspaper: "He's even been back in touch with Nicole moaning about it - insisting it has left him struggling to get by.
Mel B has been granted a temporarily restraining order against her former nanny.
The former Spice Girls singer obtained a court order on Monday (04.10.17) banning Lorraine Gilles from "annoying, harassing, molesting and coming within 100 yards" of her after she claimed that her ex-child care worker and her estranged husband Stephen Belafonte, who allegedly had an affair and were expecting a baby, had been "extorting" her since she filed for divorce from the film producer earlier this month.
The 41-year-old pop star's lawyer also got permission from the courts to gain access to a storage locker rented by Lorraine because Mel was convinced her former employee was stashing sex tapes and raunchy photos of her that she and Stephen had allegedly threatened to leak in a bid to destroy the brunette beauty's life.
Mel B is reportedly willing to offer her estranged husband Stephen Belafonte £5 million and a private island as part of their divorce settlement - but only if he agrees to a gagging order.
The former couple have been locked in a bitter legal battle since the ex-Spice Girl filed for divorce after 10 years of marriage last month, but it looks like the end could be in sight for the pair as the singer is believed to be on the "verge" of offering him the lump sum and giving him the stunning island - situated in Virginia - she bought him for £1 million for his birthday in 2014, but he has to sign a document confirming he won't speak of their divorce in public first.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Mel wants it done and dusted as quickly as possible to prevent any more harm being done to her kids. She'll give him £5 million plus that bloody white elephant of an island, which was a total waste of money.
"He wants double that, but he'll take what's being offered because if he gets into a fight with her then her pockets are much deeper than his."
Mel B's sister wants her estranged husband Stephen Belafonte to "rot in hell".
Danielle Brown - who, along with her mother Andrea, was estranged from the former Spice Girls singer for several years because of their contentious relationship with the producer - has branded Stephen a "psychopath" in a social media rant, days after her older sibling was granted a restraining order amid allegations her husband had been abusive throughout their 10-year marriage.
The former 'Emmerdale' actress - whose beloved father Martin passed away last month - wrote on Instagram: "Dear all media I won't be selling a story on my sister never have and never will!! Here is my comment below so you can now leave me and my mum alone and let us be united and grieve the loss of my dad.
Federal investigators are reportedly weighing up whether they can prosecute Stephen Belafonte on weapons charges.
The home of Mel B's estranged husband in the Hollywood Hills was searched by criminal investigators on Friday (31.03.17) and although agents did not find a gun, they did uncover an empty shell casing and a bullet that was out of the casing.
Stephen, 41, is prohibited from possessing either a gun or ammunition, after being convicted of domestic violence back in 2003.
And while neither of the items uncovered at Stephen's home is a projectile, the US Attorney in Los Angeles is reviewing the case for possible prosecution, according to TMZ.
Mel B has been granted a restraining order against her estranged husband Stephen Belafonte.
The 41-year-old film producer has been ordered to stay away from the singer and her three children after she claimed in documents submitted to the court and obtained by TMZ that he hit her, got their nanny pregnant and forced her to take part in threesomes during their 10-year marriage.
The former Spice Girl - who filed for divorce from her ex-beau last month - alleged the abuse started within the first year of their marriage in 2007 and saw him "punch" her, "choke" her and "split" her lip.
The documents state, "Stephen placed both of his hands around her neck, began choking her and slammed her down onto the hardwood floors," while she was preparing for 'Dancing with the Stars'.
Mel C felt "really uncomfortable" with her Sport Spice persona in the Spice Girls.
The 43-year-old singer and songwriter felt the perception of her being a "bolshy, mouthy and aggressive" female in the girl band were characteristics untrue to her real personality because she "hates" confrontation and played the role of the "diplomat" when she was in the group.
Speaking about how she was portrayed in the May issue of the Good House Keeping magazine, the 'Wannabe' hitmaker - whose full name is Melanie Chisholm - said: "In the band, there was power in numbers and we egged one another on. As Sporty Spice, I felt I was portrayed as being quite bolshy, mouthy and aggressive and that has never been me. I felt really uncomfortable with this portrayal. When you're in your early 20s, you are trying to figure out who you are anyway. I hate confrontation and, in the band, I was the diplomat. I've always been very low key and put up with stuff. I just got to a point where I realised it wasn't serving me well. I had to take responsibility for myself."
Everything she touches turns to gold it seems, and Victoria Beckham told Fern Mallis that she’s pleased with the way things have turned out for her.
During her chat this week, Posh explained, "I've achieved a lot in 41 years and I like how 41 feels. I feel good. I don't like how it sounds too much. It doesn't sound great but you know I’m proud of everything I've achieved. I've got four incredible children, a wonderful life with my husband. I couldn't have done much more in 41 years so I'm okay with it."
