Shakira: Marvelous in Milan

All smiles as she stepped out to begin her day, Shakira was spotted leaving her room at The Park Hyatt hotel in Milan, Italy this morning (May 2).

The Colombian-born 34-year-old kept it casual as she readied herself for the morning's tasks, sporting a pair of aviators, midriff-bearing striped top, ripped blue jeans, and a pair of nude platform sandals.

The singer, who is currently traveling the world for her "The Sun Comes Out" concert tour, is always looking for ways to use her talents for good, recently telling "Gulf News" that she has "always felt that the best thing I can do with my voice is use it to help others who don't have one, and to draw focus to more important issues like the right to a quality education."

Shakira, who just last month held a groundbreaking ceremony for her Barefoot Foundation's seventh school in Cartegena, Spain, will impact nearly 60,000 residents of the area, as thousands of children will have access to an education.
