She’s in the United Arab Emirates to celebrate the New Year and Selena Gomez may be making a bad impression on the locals.
The “Come and Get It” songstress posted a photo to Instagram of herself showing her ankle and lower leg while inside the Abu Dhabi Grand Mosque on December 29th. However, Miss Gomez has since deleted the image due to an overwhelmingly negative response from her Muslim fans.
The “Come and Get It” songstress jetted out of LAX International Airport on Sunday (December 28) with her model gal pals and safely landed in Dubai, located in the United Arab Emirates. Also on the voyage were good friends Shay Mitchell and Devon Windsor and everyone posed for photos with fans and members of the flight crew along the way.
An Us Weekly source says that instead of enjoying the company of celebrity guests like Jay Z, Beyonce and Justin Timberlake, the “Come and Get It” singer threw a tantrum. The insider explains, "She shouted, 'No one understands me! My boyfriend doesn't even understand me. Everyone just stared [at her]."

The “Come and Get It” songstress said goodbye to her longtime label Hollywood Records after a seven-year relationship and has signed a new contract with Interscope Records. Gomez posted a photo to Instagram over the weekend of herself actually inking her name to the new contract, along with the caption, “Guess who’s officially an Interscope artist #thisiswhatdreamsaremadeof.”
She’s been a constant target of relationship speculation and Selena Gomez has officially stated that she’s not in a romantic arrangement at the moment.
While chatting to NRJ Radio in Norway in Norway today (December 11) the “Slow Down” songstress was inevitably asked about her on/off boyfriend Justin Bieber. Selena shared, “I definitely have so much respect and love for him, and going in the studio [to record ‘The Heart Wants What It Wants’] is just very therapeutic… It was my way of having it be a message more to people in general. People everywhere feel this feeling, and they should understand when anybody goes through that.”

The “Rudderless” starlet described the process of capturing the raw conversation she had at the beginning of the clip with on/off boyfriend Justin Bieber- “They taped the mic underneath the table when I was shooting the video. And I had shot the video over a year ago. So, in that state — where I was in that place emotionally — I went in and I went into the room by myself, and I looked at the actual mirror in the music video, and I had a conversation [with] myself to every question I had in my mind in that moment: ‘Wow, this feeling changes everything and you can’t help it.'”
