With the November 1st release date of her independent film "Static" quickly approaching, Sarah Shahi got a major jumpstart in garnering exposure by covering the October 2012 'TV's Hottest Girls' issue of Maxim magazine.
The 32-year-old Dallas Cowboys cheerleader turned actress showed off her oh-so-hot self in Only Hearts undies and a Cheap Monday tank accessorized with Sonya Renee earrings and a Dogeared necklace for the Zoe McConnell shot front page.
With plenty more hotness to be found in the accompanying spread, a few highlights from Miss Shahi's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Maxim!
On her mom's advice:
"My mom told us not to be ashamed of our bodies and to embrace our boobs like we embrace our hands."
On becoming a cheerleader for the Dallas cowboys:
"I did a lot of theater growing up, and in college I was in the musical Chicago. Everyone knew I wanted to be an actress, so they said, 'Why don't you try out for the Cowboys Cheerleaders?' because back in 1995 they were on 'Saturday Night Live'. So I figured that could be my way in; I tried out just to get on SNL.
On landing a spot on 'The Sopranos':
"That was a big deal for me, considering the number of people who watched that show and the role I had. To be able to manipulate Tony Soprano like that was pretty awesome. I mean, James Gandolfini and I went toe-to-toe."
On letting loose:
"Every once in awhile you've got to shove nachos and donuts and fajitas in your face and wash it down with margaritas."
On what's in store next:
"I'm really busy! I'm producing and starring in a movie called 'Road to Paloma,' which we're getting ready for Sundance. Jason Mamoa directed it."
