There will be an additional holiday stocking hanging from Sandra Bullock's mantle this year as she just announced she’s adopted a three-year-old girl named Laila.
The “Speed 2” actress is featured in a new spread for People magazine (her boyfriend Bryan Randall snapped the photographs) in which she shows off her adorable daughter, making her son Louis a big brother!
They’ve been good friends for years, so when Sandra Bullock showed up at the premiere of her new movie “Our Brand is Crisis” last night (October 26), it wasn’t surprising that George Clooney also happened to be in the house.
The “Speed” actress was lovely as she worked the crowd outside the TCL Theatre in Hollywood while Clooney did a little smooching with his wife Amal.
Her new movie “Our Brand is Crisis” hits theaters October 30th and Sandra Bullock just landed on the front page of the November 2015 issue of Glamour magazine.
The “Speed” actress actually got the male lead changed to a female for the flick, proving that you can’t keep a good woman down- “I did as my mother did: I put my blinders on and blazed forward. Sometimes you get a no. But I expect the no. I don’t expect the yes. With this I got very nervous. I didn’t know if [producer] George [Clooney] had made this for himself. But the response was ‘We’re cool with it.’ And then the role—I mean, it was so beautifully written for a man. It wasn’t one of those things where you go, ‘Hmm, how do we change it to a woman?’ You just change the sex; that was pretty much it. She’s human. She deals with addiction; she deals with mental illness. She’s brilliant at what she does, and she gets lost in the fact that all she cares about is a win. You look at our world—and back to my son: How do you raise a child to not make it all about the win when all we see in our world is people saying, ‘In order to have success, you have to win’?”
Kids and adults alike were excited for the release of “Minions,” and over the weekend the animated prequel to “Despicable Me” raked in some serious cash.
With a total opening take of $115.2 million, the Sandra Bullock-voiced project jumped to the #1 spot for box office earnings, followed by “Jurassic World” with $18.1 million and “Inside Out” with $17.1 million.
With decades of Tinseltown success and plenty of personal accomplishments under her belt, Sandra Bullock is the obvious choice for the 2015 World’s Most Beautiful Woman honor from People magazine.
In her cover story, the “Proposal” actress explains, "Real beauty is quiet. Especially in this town, it's just so hard not to say, 'Oh, I need to look like that.’ No, be a good person, be a good mom, do a good job with the lunch, let someone cut in front of you who looks like they're in a bigger hurry. The people I find most beautiful are the ones who aren't trying."
Enormous fame can unfortunately bring about some scary situations. When fans get overly obsessed, they may go to great lengths to meet their favorite star and Sandra Bullock knows all too well what that type of situation looks like.
In a newly obtained document, we learn that the Oscar-winning actress' home intruder Joshua Corbett waited outside the star's bedroom when he trespassed inside her home last month.
