Tending to Parisian press duties, costars Johnny Depp and Amber Heard attended the premiere of "The Rum Diary" in Paris, France on Tuesday evening (November 8).
The “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor and the “Playboy Club” star looked lovely as they hit the red carpet, posing for pictures with the film's director Bruce Robinson before making their way inside the Gaumont Marignan Cinema.
Happy to have feet back firmly on the ground, Johnny recently told Life magazine of the time he and Robinson were once aboard an aircraft that nearly crashed.
Depp told the mag, “The plane just shut down. The sound of the engines stopped. There was silence. Bruce and I were looking at each other and I think I said, 'Is this it?' It was like this weird extended moment when you're just floating for a second and you could feel this unpleasant descent. Nobody said a word except for Bruce and I, sitting next to each other saying, 'Oh s***! This is death, I guess this is how it goes down.”
He continued, “Then we burst into hysterical laughter at the idea that this was how we were going to die.” Despite the scare, the plane’s power came back on shortly after.
