Robert Pattinson & Andrew Garfield: Not So Buddy, Buddy?

Don't mistake British male superstars Andrew Garfield and Robert Pattinson for being two peas in a pod.

The two are rumored to not be fond of one another and, according to a source, "Andrew hates that they're put in the same category because they're both English and around the same age."

A witness at the June 23rd wedding of mutual friend, producer Kevin Turen, claimed that the "Twilight" star and "The Social Network" actor spent the night ignoring each other. The source tells Us Weekly that "Andrew considers himself a 'serious actor' and sees Rob as the equivalent of a cheesey boy bander because of 'Twilight'."

Meanwhile, another source claims that it's just healthy competition, stating that "[b]oth like intense parts and go after the same roles." The Examiner reports that the two competed for the title role in "The Amazing Spider Man."

In career news, the 28-year-old actor can currently be seen in "The Amazing Spider Man" playing the webbed wonder himself, while 26-year-old heartthrob just finished work on "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn-Part 2."
