In the wake of the recent controversies, "Twihards" will face more disappointment. It was recently announced that Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will not be attending the final conventions for their upcoming film, "Breaking Dawn: Part 2."
Creation Entertainment released a statement, writing, "The passion and dedication of Twilight fandom has been amazing and we're out to throw one last giant convention, a final gathering to see old friends that have made up the Twilight family. Although Rob, Kristen and Taylor will not be with us this time out we will have a super line-up of other Twilight stars and the weekend will be filled with special events, movie prop and costume displays, contests, panels, auctions, parties, exclusive merchandise, music and much more, including some surprises!"
The absence is likely a direct result of the 22-year-old actress' affair with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Miss Stewart confessed to having a "momentary indiscretion" with her 41-year-old director. The scandal raised numerous questions about the upcoming November 16 release of the final film installment, along with the promotional tours.
The final four conventions for the "Twilight Breaking Dawn: Part 2" will take place August 25th in San Antonio; September 29th in Detroit; October 5th in New Jersey; and November 3rd in Los Angeles.
