He’s always been a snappy dresser, so it’s no wonder Robert Downey Jr is the front page poser for the Summer Style issue from GQ magazine.
The “Iron Man” hunk looks dapper in his snazzy photo shoot as he chats about his view of failure- “As far as straight-up failure, I don't want to talk about failure. I want to talk about moments of humility. Like when you feel suddenly sick and embarrassed but then you have to continue on to the next moment immediately in full view of others. Because it's not failure if you just recognize, I fell short, and that's okay.”
Never one to hold his tongue, Robert Downey Jr opened up about his fondness for filming with his “Iron Man” costar Gwyneth Paltrow during Wednesday’s (May 4) episode of “The Howard Stern Show.”
The “Sherlock Holmes” stud confessed, "I guess I can dream a little bit. My free pass is — because her and [my wife] Susan are such good friends — is Paltrow. I gotta get her back in these movies so I can make out with her onscreen again.”
Chris, who portrays the superhero Captain America, has attended plenty of premieres for the Marvel franchise but that doesn't stop him being nervous ahead of certain public appearances, and Robert had to give him a pep talk ahead of the Los Angeles premiere on Tuesday (April 12) because he would not calm down.
Kicking off the week with some media duties, Robert Downey Jr showed up at Rockefeller Center in New York City for an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” last night (April 27).
The “Judge” star was in the house to plug his new movie “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” though he quickly ended up in one of Fallon’s hilarious segments called “Emotional Interview.” Jimmy asked, “When did you know you wanted to be an actor?” and Robert replied in his ‘annoyingly philosophical’ manner, “To know is to understand and the question is already answered in its asking.”
