Chris, who portrays the superhero Captain America, has attended plenty of premieres for the Marvel franchise but that doesn't stop him being nervous ahead of certain public appearances, and Robert had to give him a pep talk ahead of the Los Angeles premiere on Tuesday (April 12) because he would not calm down.
Kicking off the week with some media duties, Robert Downey Jr showed up at Rockefeller Center in New York City for an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” last night (April 27).
The “Judge” star was in the house to plug his new movie “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” though he quickly ended up in one of Fallon’s hilarious segments called “Emotional Interview.” Jimmy asked, “When did you know you wanted to be an actor?” and Robert replied in his ‘annoyingly philosophical’ manner, “To know is to understand and the question is already answered in its asking.”
With a massively-successful career that’s spanned almost four decades, Robert Downey Jr is still one of the hottest stars in Tinseltown. And last night (April 12) the “Judge” hunk was honored with the Generation Award.
Downey’s “Avengers” costars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo and Chris Hemsworth presented the trophy during the 2015 MTV Movie Awards and Robert gave a touching and witty acceptance speech.
