Rihanna's Father Gives Blessing To Reunite with Chris Brown

After getting physically assaulted by her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown, it's usually unheard of to be granted with a parent's approval for a relationship renewal.

That doesn't seem to be the case as Rihanna's father announced he's putting the past in the past.

In a recent interview with Britain's Grazia magazine, the 24-year-old star's father Ronald Fenty opened up saying, "Chris has matured a lot," adding, "I think everybody has to put the past behind them. And they seem to have done that. Being a couple is all up to her."

Not only is Fenty okay with another possible go at the relationship, but he thinks his daughter's fans are open to the idea too explaining, "Everyone is entitled to make a mistake," adding, "Her fans are hoping it will happen. They see them as a perfect couple."

These comments are of course referring to the physical assault that occurred between Brown and the "Umbrella" singer on the eve of the 2009 Grammy's. After word got out of the situation, pictures of the Barbadian songstress' face were also released showing her completely bruised and beaten

Since the incident, the former couple have crossed paths at times, including being featured in each other's singles, but no confirmed relationship had sprouted at this time.
