Ricky Gervais: Gone from the Golden Globes

It’s no secret that he stepped on plenty of toes at last night’s 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards, and Ricky Gervais isn’t looking to make a third appearance as host.

The crass British comedian, who hosted last year’s awards as well, was booed by the audience multiple times and took cheap shots at pretty much everyone he introduced.

Gervais told press he hadn’t received an offer to return for next year’s festivities. “That’s ominous, isn’t it? So I probably won’t be here next year.”

However, Ricky added, if he is eventually asked to return, “I’ll go (expletive) mental.” It seems safe to say that won’t happen.
