‘The Hoax’ is a new comedic-drama due to hit theaters on April 13th. The film details the story of Clifford Irving’s selling of his bogus biography on Howard Hughes to a premiere publishing house in the early 1970s.
In what would cause a fantastic media frenzy, ‘The Hoax’ is in reference to Irving’s supposed autobiography on Howard Hughes (which never actually existed). While Irving’s autobiography of Hughes was hatched up in his own mind, some of the stories involving Richard Nixon and bribery are said to have sprung as a result of the non-existent Hughes bio.

The Robert F. Kennedy Memorial human rights organization is the beneficiary of over a hundred lots being auctioned off. Lunch with Gere at his still-to-be-opened restaurant in New York City is currently fetching around $13,500, but bids are still coming in.
