Prince William of Whales is the son of Charles, Prince of Whales and Diana, Princess of Whales. He is second in the line of succession to the British throne. Prince William currently is dating Kate Middleton, with a Royal Marriage in the works.
In an exclusive interview, Prince William candidly talked about having to prepare for his wedding to Kate Middleton without his late mother, Princess Diana.
“I sort of prepared myself beforehand so that I was sort of mentally prepared,” William told ABC's Katie Couric while adding, “I didn’t want any wobbly lips or anything going on.”
After Queen Elizabeth has spent 60 years on the throne, Prince William has now opened up to give the world a sneak peek into one of his favorite memories with his royal Grandmother.
Recalling his officiation at the Royal Military Academy on December 15, 2006 (pictured above), the Duke of Cambridge says that having his Grandmother present was a "very special" and "proud" moment for the now search and rescue pilot. Clearly seen in the photo above, the 29-year-old Royal couldn't hold back a smile as the Queen walked by.
Opening up in a recent interview, Prince William confessed he hardly slept the night before his April 29, 2011 wedding.
In a segment called "Elizabeth: Queen, Wife, Mother" set to air on June 1st in the UK, the 29-year-old royal told TV host Alan Titchmarsh, "[The crowds] were singing and cheering all night long, so the excitement of that, the nervousness of me and everyone singing -- I slept for about half an hour".
