Paula Abdul Eyes Star Search Gig

Shocking many after quitting her judge position on American Idol, Paula Abdul may have a new gig.

The former judge is “finalizing a deal” that will have her starring in a new version the 1980’s hit show Star Search.

The new show that is being slated for the summer of 2010 is said to star Abdul, as a judge as well as host, but details are still being worked out and ABC refused to comment.

The news comes after rumors sparked that Abdul was heading to Dancing With the Stars after quitting, Idol as well as Simon Cowell’s new show X Factor.

Star Search is a talent contest that involves singers, actors, comedians, and even models.
