Getting all prettied up before her fashionable work duties, Karolina Kurkova was busy undergoing makeup and fitting sessions backstage at Espace Ephemere Tuileries in Paris, France on Wednesday (October 6).
Once everything was just as desired, the blonde beauty made her way to the catwalk as she showed off the latest looks during the Elie Saab Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 2011 show.
Aside from her Paris Fashion Week visit, Miss Kurkova can be seen on an all-new "America's Next Top Model" - which airs tonight at 8PM on The CW.
Asked by ET Online what made her want to talk to the show's contestants about healthy eating, Karolina replied, "I think it is important to teach a lot of these girls -- who maybe come from small towns who don't understand or have no idea how to really take care of themselves -- how to eat properly."
The 26-year-old Czech model continued, "Maybe they have misconceptions that if they eat just lettuce or drink a lot of water, they will get skinny and will look great and be more successful, which is really not the truth. It is so important to eat and eat well. You need the energy. I know myself. If I don't eat properly … I can't just live on lettuce and water. I think people have this misunderstanding that to be a successful model and to be a size 0, that perfect size, you have to not eat or you have to eat plain and boring, which is not true."
Miss Kurkova finished by telling, "Something that I am about is I eat very organic and I am into natural fruits, healthy eating and exercise and really taking of yourself from within, more than all kinds of creams, especially when the girls showed me what they were eating and making fried Oreos every day and then wondering why their skin is so bad. Simple things like that that can make a difference. If you feel good, it is going to show."
