Oprah Winfrey's Final Show Posts Record Ratings

It was hard to say goodbye to the “ Oprah Winfrey” show yesterday, and it seems that a record number of viewers felt the same way.

According to a report, the ratings for the final episode were the highest they’ve been in 17 years, since 1994’s “People Shed Their Disguises” show.

“The Oprah Winfrey Show” scored a 13.3 household rating in the overnight metered markets, bringing an end to a stellar week.

On Monday, the show garnered a 10.2 rating and Tuesday’s installment brought in a 10.7, both double the usual averages.
