Oprah Winfrey Announces Live Chat

She’s known for jumping on the chance to please her fans, and Oprah Winfrey just announced that she will be conducting a live Facebook chat on September 8.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Facebook is currently soliciting questions for the live chat which is set to begin at 4:30pm est next Thursday.

The interview is in connection with a series of big meetings between Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg and Twitter CEO Dick Costolo along with other big names who are trying to figure out a way to boost traffic on Oprah.com

In July, Winfrey’s faltering site had around 2.4 million unique visitors while her Facebook page has nearly 6.3 million fans.
