We’re heading into awards season and the Producers Guild of America has just released the picks for the upcoming 26th Annual Producers Guild Awards.

Slated to go live on January 24th, the ceremony is held each year to honor the unsung heroes of the film and television industry- the producers. And this year “Nightcrawler,” “Foxcatcher,” “Unbroken,” “Gone Girl,” “American Sniper,” “The Imitation Game” and “The Theory of Everything” are all up for top honors.

It’s one of the most beloved princess tales of all time, and “Cinderella” is getting the live-action treatment thanks to Walt Disney Pictures. In the newly-released featurette, Lily James, Helena Bonham Carter, Cate Blanchett, Richard Madden and director Kenneth Branagh discuss the process of bringing Cinderella to life.

Per the synopsis, “The story of ‘Cinderella’ follows the fortunes of young Ella whose merchant father remarries following the tragic death of her mother. Keen to support her loving father, Ella welcomes her new stepmother Lady Tremaine and her daughters Anastasia and Drizella into the family home.”

It’s going to be one of the biggest films of the summer, and “Ant-Man” just debuted a very small teaser clip online. The 17-second video is literally tiny, though a full-sized trailer is slated to air during ABC’s “Marvel’s Agent Carter” on January 6th.

Per they synopsis, “Armed with a super-suit with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang must embrace his inner hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.”

It’s going to be another great year for movies, and Disney is gearing up for the March 13th release of their forthcoming flick “Cinderella.” The much-anticipated project stars Lily James, Cate Blanchett, Richard Madden, Helena Bonham Carter and Stellan Skarsgard under the direction of Kenneth Branagh.

Per the synopsis, “The story of ‘Cinderella’ follows the fortunes of young Ella whose merchant father remarries following the tragic death of her mother. Following a $15 million holiday run, “The Interview” has now released one last red band trailer for all to enjoy. The Sony Pictures production was initially pulled from its Christmas Day debut, but ended up opening in independent theaters as well as several VOD options.

As of this week, “The Interview” is now playing in 331 theaters and can be rented or purchased over the internet through iTunes and various other websites.

Though she’s best-known for her vocal chops, Rita Ora is excited for the world to see her acting abilities in the forthcoming film “Fifty Shades of Grey.”

On Monday night (December 29), the “How We Do” singer shared a photograph of herself dressed as Mia Grey, and it’s certainly more winning than the strange shot that emerged last month. At the time, fans wrote things like, “She looks horrid. Mia is meant to be a cute girly girl. Not looking like a man in drag,” and “I’m glad you got to play her, but it’s not how I pictured Mia. Sorry.”

Though the FBI claimed that Kim Jong-Un was definitely responsible for the Sony Pictures computer hacking scandal, it turns out North Korea may not be on the hook after all. According to Cybersecurity firm Norse Corp, the whole snafu was coordinated by a former Sony employee who is based right here in the USA.

Norse has discovered the ex-staffer, referred to as ‘Lena,’ has been linked to the hack because she has “extensive knowledge of the company’s network and operations.”

Though she hasn’t been known as an action star thus far, Salma Hayek taking on a new challenge in the forthcoming film “Everly.”

Directed by Joe Lynch, the new movie is being billed as an “ode to Asian cinema and the action classic ‘Die Hard,’” and the just-released trailer looks pretty convincing. Hayek plays a prostitute-turned informant named Yakuza, who fends off assassins and takes her daughter to start a new life.

Per a Forbes report, the “American Hustle” hottie is the highest-grossing actress of the year thanks to the $1.4 billion her films earned over the past twelve months.

Coming in at number two is “Parks and Recreation” hunk Chris Pratt, as “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “The Lego Movie” made a combined $1.2 billion.
