Nicole Scherzinger Talks Dancing Nerves, Competition

Closing in on their big "Dancing with the Stars" debut, Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough were spotted leaving a dance studio in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday afternoon (March 17).

Sporting her tight-fitting black workout pants with a white zip-up jacket, the former "Pussycat Dolls" singer led the way as her professional dancer/choreographer partner followed behind.

Recently talking about the nervousness of hitting the dancefloor on national television when the new season of DWTS kicks off on March 22nd, Nicole said, “I definitely had my apprehensions, my own fears, my own insecurities about agreeing to do the show. The more I thought about it, I love a challenge. I think it’s good to face your fears.”

Also revealing who she thinks will be the toughest competitors on the show, Miss Scherzinger explains, “On paper I’m pretty afraid of Olympic gold-medalist Evan Lysacek. He’s like a ballerina on skates. Then again, Chad Ochocinco is in the prime shape of his life.”
