She’s always a fan of high-profile shindigs, and last night (August 22) Nicole Scherzinger was spotted at t he Emmy Week fete thrown by Audi.

The “Don’t Cha” songstress was all smiles as she arrived at Cecconi’s Restaurant in Los Angeles, sporting a sexy black strapless dress with matching peep-toe heels.

In related news, Nicole is rumored to be gunning for the vacant “X-Factor” seat now that Dannii Minogue has been given the kibosh.

Apparently, Dannii was sent packing after annoying show bosses by insisting that she be allowed to return to the show halfway through the season.

An insider revealed, "It's no secret that her determination to do this year's show annoyed people. Some very senior figures hoped she would step aside so they could find a new judge and keep some degree of continuity between the auditions and the live shows."
