Building on the success of the franchise, writer/director Joss Whedon has outdone himself once again, bringing Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson into the fold as Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, respectively, and they both look like they’re up to the task.
Despite the fact that “Fifty Shades of Grey” has brought in more than $558 million so far, director Sam Taylor-Johnson isn’t interested in helming any of the subsequent sequels.
The gorgeous filmmaker told Us Weekly, "Directing Fifty Shades of Grey has been an intense and incredible journey for which I am hugely grateful. I have Universal to thank for that. I forged close and lasting relationships with the cast, producers and crew and most especially, with Dakota [Johnson] and Jamie [Dornan]. While I will not be returning to direct the sequels, I wish nothing but success to whosoever takes on the exciting challenges of films two and three."
