As one of country music’s biggest stars, Miranda Lambert could very easily let her fame go to her head, but thankfully she’s managed to stay grounded.
In her cover story for the June 2015 issue of Country Living, the “Only Prettier” singer says she’s really looking forward to making jam with her husband Blake Shelton- "My dad taught me to live off the land. I now have my own garden, but Blake is really the gardener. This year, we're planting tomatoes and strawberries to make jam. I have a little downtime this summer, so I'm looking forward to this task."
She’s had a banner year with a hit album and sold-out tour so Miranda Lambert t has plenty of smile about going into the New Year. The “Only Prettier” songstress is on the cover of Marie Claire's January 2015 edition and it’s safe to say she looks hotter than ever.
Miranda explained that she always stays true to who she is by writing and performing her own material. “Early on, an artist told me, ‘Don’t be yourself. Perform and be someone else. And I thought, ‘That seems like exactly the opposite of what I should be doing.’ Then I had people wanting me to adjust my lyrics to be more appealing to the masses or whatever. I said, ‘No, that’s bullsh*t.’ I’d rather sell four copies of something that’s real than 4 million copies of something that’s fake.”
When your mom is the original “American Idol” champion there’s all kinds of perks- just ask Kelly Clarkson's daughter River Rose.
The “Since You’ve Been Gone” singer’s little girl received an amazing Gibson acoustic guitar from aunt and uncle Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton and proud mama Kelly couldn’t help but let the world know about their kindness.
