According to a report put out by TMZ on Wednesday (April 4), the "Jersey Shore" star has exited the facility that he originally went to "get control of a prescription medication problem I had due to exhaustion."
As previously reported by GossipCenter, rumors started swirling in late March that the tanned guido had checked himself into rehab. Just one day later, Sitch took to his own website to set the record straight, writing, "I want to set the record straight. I have voluntarily taken steps to get control of a prescription medication problem I had due to exhaustion. I have spent the past several weeks getting treatment for this problem and recuperating from my work and appearance schedule. I appreciate my fans support and love you guys."
Now that Sorrentino is supposedly out of treatment, he will once again be gearing up for the sixth season of the hard-partying MTV reality show, "Jersey Shore." When the producers of the wildly popular program heard the news, they didn't seem too concerned, saying they "fully expect and are looking forward to the entire cast returning for a sixth season."
Wonder what the "Shore" house will be like for this go 'round with one member currently pregnant and another on a sober path....
