Showing some love to their English fans, Emily Blunt, James Corden and Meryl Streep showed up at the Curzon Mayfair in London for a special screening of “Into the Woods” on Wednesday (January 7).
Following a successful launch in the States, the film now begins making its international rounds and co-producer Marc Platt told press there are big things ahead. "It's been a great journey and from a business perspective we're delighted that it is reaching a very, very broad audience.”
Showing some love to their English fans, the stars of “Into the Woods” attended a photocall at the Corinthia Hotel in London on Wednesday (January 7). “The Devil Wears Prada” actress Meryl Streep was lovely as she posed alongside James Corden and Emily Blunt while fans and shutterbugs snapped up pictures.
Ms. Blunt told press that although she has worked with Meryl in the past, it was still exhilarating to star with her in the new flick.
It’s one of the most anticipated films of the season and last night (December 9) Anna Kendrick and Meryl Streep gave the Academy of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences members an exclusive look at “Into the Woods” in New York City.
The “Pitch Perfect” actress and the “Devil Wears Prada” legend were joined by Joe Neumaier and Rob Marshall at The Academy Theatre at Lighthouse International as they fielded questions after the screening.

Meryl Streep was lovely in a black ensemble as she greeted fans and press with a big smile ahead of the much-anticipated screening. Meanwhile, Emily Blunt brought her husband John Krasinski as her arm candy and Anna Kendrick, Lilla Crawford and James Corden all made an appearance.
With “Into The Woods” coming to theaters this Christmas, Johnny Depp, Emily Blunt, Anna Kendrick and Lilla Crawford are all featured on four different versions of the Entertainment Weekly cover for October 31st.
The “Pirates of the Caribbean” hunk looks amazing as The Big Bad Wolf, posing next to Crawford’s Little Red Riding Hood, while Meryl Streep and MacKenzie Mauzy make a convincing Witch/Rapunzel combo.
