Marion Cotillard Covers WSJ Magazine July/August 2012
With her new movie "The Dark Knight Rises" set to hit theaters on July 20th, Marion Cotillard garnered herself a little added exposure by covering the July/August 2012 issue of WSJ magazine.
The 36-year-old French actress looked enchanting in a $16,000 Gucci gown for the Josh Olins shot front page while dishing about everything from her experiences at Paris runway shows to the impact of being a new mother.
Highlights from Miss Cotillard's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to WSJ magazine!
On fielding journalists' questions at runway shows in Paris:
"I would have very dumb answers because I didn't have anything to say. Not that I'm smarter with my answers now, but at least my vision of fashion has changed—it's actually an art, what designers do with the shape of the body."
On the gregarious 'Rust and Bone' cast:
"If we were shooting a party, we were at a party. It was kind of hard for Guillaume to contain us sometimes."
On her evolving career:
"I have the opportunity to travel in all these worlds, and that's why I wanted to be an actress. I wanted to go from a point to the opposite point—and that's happening."
On how motherhood has impacted her:
"Your priorities are totally changed, and for the best... I'm super cool now."
