Mariah Carey: All About Christmas in Aspen

Fully immersed in the holiday spirit, Mariah Carey tended to some last minute Christmas shopping while out in Aspen, Colorado over the weekend (December 18).

Showing off her svelte figure while on her seasonal retail romp, the "Honey" singer dressed in a black floppy hat, body-hugging pea coat and black suede knee-high boots.

"I start planning my Christmas in June. It's absolutely my favorite holiday and I've always loved everything about this time of year. I love cooking and I'm a smash-hit wonder in the kitchen," she told press.

Carey continued, "I'm going to be making the turkey, cranberry sauce and all the trimmings this Christmas. I cooked at Thanksgiving and it was a real success with everyone asking for seconds."

Additionally, Mariah insists she isn't the only Christmas-crazed member of her family, as she explained, "Luckily Nick is almost as over-the-top festive as me. One year we hired Santa Claus to come round with real reindeer that looked as if they were going to fly off into the snow at any moment. Everyone loved it."
