Showing some love to their Australian fans, Henry Cavill and Russell Crowe showed up at the Sydney premiere of “Man of Steel” on Monday (June 24).
The pair of handsome hunks had all the ladies swooning outside Event Cinemas, both donning dark suits as they hammed it up for the cameras.
In a recent interview, Henry confessed that while scoring the Superman gig was great, he’s waded through plenty of disappointment on his way there.
Cavill reportedly tried out for James Bond (Daniel Craig got it), Edward Cullen, and Cedric Diggory (Robert Pattinson got both of them), but when “Man of Steel” director Zack Snyder came calling he was ready to roll.
While playing video games with his friends, Henry recalled, “I looked down at the last minute and I see its Zach Snyder and I dive for phone. I was like, ‘forget you guys, I’m going for Zach!”
