While there may not be a “Magic Mike: The Sequel” any time soon, there is still hope that the racy film will make it to Broadway.
A musical adaptation of the male stripper flick that sent women to the theaters in droves is in the works.
The film’s producer, Gregory Jacobs, told Vulture, “It’s coming along, and there will be more about it soon.”
Though there are few details about the possible show, Jacobs did hint that it will be an interactive experience. “Oh, you definitely might get a lap dance . . . Absolutely. That’s happening for sure.”
