Madonna is one the all-time greatest performers selling out crowds wherever Madonna performs. In addition to Madonna's enormously successful career in the entertainment industry she also know as a great philanthropist. Expect to continue to hear the songs
She’s the epitome of girl power these days, but Madonna fell victim to a rapist after moving to New York City when she was 19 years old.
While chatting with Howard Stern on Wednesday (March 11), the “Papa Don’t Preach” songstress recalled her reasons for not calling the cops after she was violated (she initially shared her story in a 2013 Harper’s Bazaar interview).
Never one to keep her opinions to herself, Madonna told Out Magazine she’s a little miffed at the lack of progress with regard to women’s equality.
Along with a sexy photo spread, the “Justify My Love” lady told the publication, “Gay rights are way more advanced than women’s rights. People are a lot more open-minded to the gay community than they are to women, period. It’s moved along for the gay community, for the African-American community, but women are still just trading on their a**. To me, the last great frontier is women. Women are still the most marginalized group.”
With dozens of pop hits to her credit, Madonna certainly knows talent when she sees it. The “Like a Virgin” songstress invited Kanye West to join her on three songs from her new album Rebel Heart and it sounds like she’s pleased with the results.
Madge told the New York Daily News, "Kanye is the new Madonna. Kanye is the black Madonna. We know, and recognize, that we have that in common. We're comrades in the envelope-pushing genre."
Well, this is awkward. Kim Kardashian and Rita Ora stepped out for the Mert & Marcus House of Love party, which was thrown to celebrate Madonna’s incredible career, wearing VERY similar styles.
Both Kim and Rita, who famously dated the reality star’s brother Rob Kardashian, showed up to the big bash in pale pink latex dresses, fur coats, and nude heels. The only difference? Kim opted to cover her cleavage with a high neckline, while Rita accentuated hers with a choke collar.
She’s ready for her close-up! Madonna is the red-lipped, cat-eyed face of Rolling Stone's March 2015 issue. In the mag, she gets candid about her true feelings towards Lady Gaga, Kanye West and more.
When asked about Lady Gaga, the 56-year-old said, “I don’t think she wants my crown. We live in a world where people like to pit women against each other. And this is why I love the idea of embracing other females who are doing what I’m doing.”
The show aired live from the UK at London’s O2 arena and was hosted by TV personalities Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly. Big winners of the night included Sam Smith, who took home awards for both British Breakthrough Act and Global Success. Ed Sheeran also won big at the ceremony, walking away with the Mastercard British Album and British Male Solo awards.
It’s no secret that she has a tendency to push the limits of fashion, and earlier tonight (February 8) Madonna decided to see if she could get away with a one-of-a-kind ensemble at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards.
The “Material Girl” songstress was all smiles as she sauntered down the Staples Center red carpet in a black lace outfit that seemed to be equal parts burlesque dancer and sexy matador, and at one point she pulled up her skirt in the back to reveal her thong-baring booty.
