Taking care of her media duties, Lorde showed up at several radio stations in New York City on Monday morning (September 30).
The New Zealand pop singer seemed to be in good spirits as she posed for photos with fans, sporting a black top with fishnet sleeves, a grey skirt, and patent leather shoes.
And Lorde isn’t wasting any time in making enemies with her female contemporaries, most notably Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez.
Of T. Swizzle, the “Royals” songstress stated, “Taylor Swift is so flawless, and so unattainable, and I don’t think it’s breeding anything good in young girls. ‘I’m never going to be like Taylor Swift, why can’t I be as pretty as Lorde?’ That’s f**king bulls**t.”
As for her opinion on Gomez’s new album, Lorde noted, “I love pop music on a sonic level. But I’m a feminist and the theme of her song [Come & Get It] is, ‘When you’re ready come and get it from me.’ I’m sick of women being portrayed this way.”
