The wait is over to hear Zac Efron and Taylor Swift's animated team-up- “The Lorax” has been released in theaters nationwide today (March 2).
Produced by Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment, “The Lorax” is based on the book of the same name by legendary author Dr. Seuss and comes in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D formats.
In the flick, Efron’s Ted goes on a hunt for a real tree in order to gain the favor of Swift’s Audrey, who dreams of beautiful forests and lush landscapes.
Also along for the ride on this environmentally-conscious flick are stars like Danny DeVito, Ed Helms, Betty White, Rob Riggle, and Jenny Slate.
In a recent interview, Taylor told press, “Dr Seuss books were a huge huge part of my childhood and it really made me fall in love with the way you can make words bounce off a page if you get them in the right syncopation... [I was] inspired by what Dr Seuss was able to do with words.”
