Stepping out for some media duties, Lindsay Lohan showed up at ABC Studios in Times Square, NYC this morning (November 16).
The “Mean Girls” actress was in the house to talk about her new Lifetime movie “Liz and Dick” (slated to air on November 25th) on “Good Morning America.”
During her interview, Lindsay talked about the process of transforming from a tabloid-plagued 26-year-old actress into Elizabeth Taylor, one of the most beloved screen sirens of all time.
“It was really interesting to really kind of, you know my hair was red at the time as well and I just cut it off and dyed it dark. But when I put the wig on and transformed into that, it was a really incredible feeling and it kind of shocked people on set which was really cool.”
She continued, "I hope my love for acting really shows through. I did the best that I could and I hope Elizabeth [Taylor] is happy, watching from above."
“It's really nerve-wracking to play someone who is such an incredible force. I was nervous to see what people would think about it. You can never actually be a clone of the person so you have to bring some of yourself into it. I'm lucky because I do relate to Elizabeth Taylor in a lot of ways."
