Just days away from what she hopes will be a career re-igniting release, Lindsay Lohan made her red carpet return at the Lifetime premiere of "Liz & Dick" on Tuesday night (November 20).
The oft-troubled actress glammed herself up in a daringly low-cut ivory slip dress as she joined network execs at the Beverly Hills Hotel held private dinner/premiere event.
The swanky soiree comes as LiLo has been busily making her press rounds, as she taped an appearance on "The Tonight Show" just prior to the Beverly Hills screening while having visited "Good Morning America" this past Friday.
During her GMA interview, the 26-year-old spoke about the process of transforming from a tabloid-plagued 26-year-old actress into Elizabeth Taylor, one of the most beloved screen sirens of all time.
“It was really interesting to really kind of, you know my hair was red at the time as well and I just cut it off and dyed it dark. But when I put the wig on and transformed into that, it was a really incredible feeling and it kind of shocked people on set which was really cool.”
Lohan continued, "I hope my love for acting really shows through. I did the best that I could and I hope Elizabeth [Taylor] is happy, watching from above. It's really nerve-wracking to play someone who is such an incredible force. I was nervous to see what people would think about it. You can never actually be a clone of the person so you have to bring some of yourself into it. I'm lucky because I do relate to Elizabeth Taylor in a lot of ways."
To see for yourself how Lindsay fared portraying the iconic Elizabeth Taylor, tune in for the premiere of “Liz & Dick” when it airs on November 25th at 9/8c on Lifetime.
