Giving herself a break from being blonde, Lauren Conrad acquired a brunette coif at the Chris McMillan salon in Beverly Hills yesterday (January 26).

The “LA Candy” author toted a Miu Miu handbag as she made her exit, looking lovely in a striped top and sunglasses.

Lauren has been working hard on her new reality show and recently stopped by Young Hollywood Studios to chat with Oliver Trevena.

Ms. Conrad discussed her fashion line, book-selling success, and even admitted to using her own stylist from time to time.
