He’s certainly created more than his fair share of controversial art, but Marilyn Manson insists he had nothing to do with the recent Lana Del Rey video that involved a simulate rape scene.
Directed by Eli Roth, the inflammatory clip depicted some pretty rough stuff and the “Beautiful People” singer says he had nothing to do with it. Marilyn’s rep told press, "Manson did not direct this, shoot it, nor was it for a Marilyn Manson video or outtake footage made by him or to be used by him with his music."
He’s no stranger to disturbing footage, and Eli Roth unveiled a clip that is nothing short of creepy on Thursday (November 20).
The two minute video features footage of Lana Del Rey getting raped by the “Hostel” director and Marilyn Manson in the middle of a chaotic dinner party, and its graphic scenes caused it to get pulled off YouTube shortly after surfacing online.
