Lamar Joseph Odom (born November 6, 1979) is an American professional basketball forward, who is currently playing for the Los Angeles Lakers. Lamar recently married Khloe Kardashian joining the ranks of athletes hooking up with reality starlets.
She’s tried to stand by her estranged husband Lamar Odom as he’s dealt with his addiction issues, but Khloe Kardashian is having a hard time making sense of the troubled basketball player’s latest episode.
On Monday (July 11) Odom was kicked off an airplane for being drunk and vomiting in the first class cabin, and the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” starlet is distraught over the drama.
The 31-year-old reality star split from the former professional basketball player in December 2013, and divorce proceedings began in July, 2015, but the sportsman was found unconscious in a Las Vegas brothel and hospitalised last October (15), Khloe put the brakes on the legal part of their split and raced to be by his side as he recovered.
In the latest clip from “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” Kim Kardashian declares, “I feel like you finally are done. You’re way closer to being over it. Before I thought you were so into it. And I was like, ‘Oh God, here we go.’”
Her estranged husband Lamar Odom is still in the hospital and Khloe Kardashian intends on having a proper Thanksgiving feast even if it means she has to bring the turkey to his bedside.
Earlier this week, the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star explained, “After our family Thanksgiving dinner is over, I invite friends to join, especially friends who don’t have family around. So we have a family Thanksgiving, a friends Thanksgiving, and this year I will also be having a hospital Thanksgiving.”
He’s never been one to hold his tongue, and Chris Rock marveled at the fact that Lamar Odom somehow turned a drug-fueled sex romp at a whorehouse into a marriage-saving moment.
The “Grown Ups” star, who was announced as the host of the 2016 Oscars earlier this week, posted a message via Twitter that said, “Here’s to Lamar Odom on being the first guy in history to have coke and hookers save his marriage,” adding, “Stay strong Lamar.” Chris was referring to the fact that Odom and his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian decided not to get divorced after all.
Sometimes it takes a tragedy to bring a family closer, and it seems that Lamar Odom's multi-day spree of having sex with many different women while doing copious amounts of drugs may end up saving his marriage to Khloe Kardashian.
The troubled NBA player pumped so many chemicals into his system that he went into a coma, and when he awoke, his “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” starlet wife was by his side and ready to give it another try.
So far he’s made a remarkable recovery since coming out of his drug-and-partying-induced coma on Friday, but Lamar Odom still has a long and difficult road ahead.
The estranged husband of Khloe Kardashian was discharged from a Las Vegas hospital on Monday (October 19) and is currently in critical condition at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles as a result of several failing organs, including his kidneys.
