Mother Monster was darling in a daringly-low-cut silver gown as she was escorted inside the Staples Center by her legendary jazz singer pal, who donned a classic black tuxedo and a show-stopping smile.
They’re one of the most unlikely pairs in musical history, and yet Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett have been selling albums and selling out shows like crazy as of late.
On Thursday (February 5) the “Just Dance” diva and the legendary crooner gathered at the Staples Center in Los Angeles to rehearse for their upcoming performance at the 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards this weekend.
Though she may seem larger-than-life, Lady Gaga reminded fans she’s human too with a makeup-free snapshot via Instagram.
Mother Monster eschewed her usual cosmetics-heavy costumed persona and instead just took a picture from her cozy bed. She wrote, “Basically I can’t sleep without every single song I’m writing repeating endlessly, but I’m loving it again. Embracing the torture, as I’m assaulted by my own thoughts. Like a locus giving birth to earworms. Eeeeew!”
Showing off their amazing artistic chemistry, Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett rang in 2015 with an amazing concert at The Chelsea inside The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Wednesday night (December 31).
The legendary 88-year-old crooner was in great shape as he teamed with Mother Monster for a series of jazz standards while the crowd soaked up the rare aural awesomeness. Gaga and Bennett’s set included “Steppin’ Out with my Baby,” “Smile,” “Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down),” “I Won’t Dance,” and “It Don’t Mean a Thing (If it Ain’t Got That Swing).”
She never seems to sit still, and Lady Gaga's latest gig is the 2015 New Year’s spread for Shiseido cosmetics. Not only with Mother Monster star in the campaign, but she also served as the photographer, shooting a total of 50 selfies for the initiative.
According to WWD, 46 of the snapshots will be published in different Japanese newspapers on January 1st, and the remaining four will go live on January 5th.
Tis the season for new friendships, and Lady Gaga got a special surprise when she attended Mariah Carey's holiday show in New York City on Sunday (December 21).
The “Poker Face” songstress ended up hanging with the “All I Want For Christmas Is You” diva backstage at the Beacon Theater where they took several snapshots together. Gaga posted a photograph with Mariah and added the caption, “Hey ladies, Merry F*cking Christmas. Love, Mariah and Gaga.”
