In an unfortunate series of events, Lady Gaga has announced that she will have to postpone a number of concerts as part of her Born This Way Ball tour.
On Tuesday (February 12), the Mother Monster took to her Twitter page to share an "unfortunate announcement" to her millions of eager fans.
"I'm so sorry. I barely know what to say," Gaga started, adding, "I've been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for sometime now, over the past month it has worsened. I've been praying it would heal. I hid it from my staff, I didn't want to disappoint my amazing fans. However after last nights performance I could not walk and still can't."
As a result of the injury, which has been officially diagnosed as synovitis (severe inflammation of joints), it looks the the "Bad Romance" songstress has to put a few of her shows on hold, as she wrote, "To the fans in Chicago Detroit & Hamilton I hope you can forgive me, as it is nearly impossible for me to forgive myself. I'm devasted & sad."
Making sure to express her deep sorrow to her fans, the 26 year-old finished off her response, penning, "It will hopefully heal as soon as possible, I hate this. I hate this so much. I love you and I'm sorry."
