Kristen Bell Set to Star in Indie Flick "The Lifeguard"
Adding another role to her already impressive lineup, Kristen Bell is reportedly set to star as the lead in the new Indie flick "The Lifeguard."
According to a report put out by Deadline on Tuesday (July 17), the "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" actress has apparently picked up the main role as Leigh, which was reportedly first given to "Blue Crush" starlet Kate Bosworth.
In the Liz W. Garcia written and directed drama, Miss Bell will play a reporter nearing her 30's who decides to leave her life in New York City and return home to obtain her high school job as a lifeguard. In a plot twist, Leigh ends up beginning a dangerous relationship with a 16-year-old delinquent.
Also starring Mamie Gummer, Martin Starr, Alex Shaffer, Joshua Harto and Amy Madigan, the production is set to begin filming this month in Pittsburgh.
